Several Poems from College

Throughout my first year of college so far, I've actually been writing a decent amount. This is just a couple of them. Both were written by me, Damon. The first one is unfinished, and i would go ahead and finish it, but I haven't yet discovered the ending of it.

Untitled
People shrieking
Always laughing
Never thinking
Only doing
Always Wanting
Wanting Wanting.
Simply buying
Never knowing…

I wrote this second poem while i was in the middle of a mental block for an essay. So to spark my thoughts, I wrote the word "Write" on a sheet of paper. Just below it I wrote the next word that came to mind, which was "Flight". I did this for 16 words, then wrote a poem with each of the words starting a line. Most of it is nonsensical, but i had fun with it.

WRITE
Write for the purpose of changing lives
Flight when the time, you know, is right
Fight, not a friend, but the Dark inside
Night is the the best way to end a day
Right is the path you follow in life
Day is the time to fight the wrong
Wrong is the path that begs you to stay
Fray is what happens to shorts all along
Song is the way to commune with the heart
Bray is the song to sing to a throng
Long is the life and the path on the way
Fae is the feeling of love in the short
Short is the time you have to remorse
Faerie dust can’t help you, only you can
Snort is the noise a Joke doth create
Merry is the feeling when you accept yourself.
